FLO is the FICCI Ladies Organization, a wing
of the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and
Industry (FICCI), the apex body of Industry and
Chambers of Commerce in India. It was established
in 1983 with the basic objective of "women
empowerment", to encourage women to exploit to the
maximum their own human potential as entrepreneurs,
business women and professionals and serve the
community and nation at large through activities of
social welfare on the cultural and social fronts.
The Jaipur Chapter has a distinguished galaxy of
members of vibrant and versatile women from
various walks of life. This organization will work
towards enhancing of professional & entrepreneurship
skills and for the empowerment of women. The
objective of FLO is to promote entrepreneurship and
professional excellence in women and society at
large. FLO holds entrepreneurship development and
vocational training programmes. Some of the
workshops which will be held in the city will be
personality enrichment workshop, entreprenual skills
development programme , professional skills
enhancement, awareness programmes, portfolio
management, business development.
Women empowerment is more than simply making them
aware of their rights and providing them with
opportunities in their chosen career. It is about
the mental fortitude that enables them to stand up
for themselves and face the world. At the
personality development programmes organized by
FLO, experts are invited to address the members and
instill in them a confidence to strive against all
odds.
